- The Mayor of Kayseri replied to an invitation with materials introducing the city of Kayseri, suggesting that
they would like to start an exchange in full scale from 2004. - Receiving an official invitation from the Mayor of Kayseri, Mehmet Ozhaseki, a Yongin delegation led by the
head of the Welfare and Environment Bureau, Kim Jin-seong, visited Kayseri from May 31st to June 7th, 2004
and initiated the exchange. - A delegation from Kayseri, comprising seven representatives and led by the Mayor of Kayseri, Mehmet
Ozhaseki, made an official visit to Yongin from December 6th to 9th, 2004, agreeing to establish a sisterhood
relationship in May, 2005. - A delegation from Yongin, comprising 22 representatives and led by the Mayor of Yongin, Lee Jung-moon,
subsequently visited Kayseri to establish a sisterhood relationship on April 21st, 2005, promoting the
friendship through the performance of artists during their visit to Turkey from April 20th to 29th, 2005. - During the Month of National Defense, 15 Kayseri veterans of the Korean War visited the old battlefields of
Yongin, including the Gimryangjang Battle Field, and expressed a spirit of blood alliance. This trip took place
from June 20th to 25th, 2005.
